Digital signage is usually sold as a box, a subscription and an installer. For a menu board above a counter you need none of that: build the slides here, open the link on the screen, and leave it. Slides can be set to play only at the hours you choose, so the lunch menu appears at noon on its own.

One email confirms it is you, then the screen has its own address for 30 days and you can extend it. You can also download it and run it with no connection at all.
What it does not do
- This tool keeps what you build, because a screen has to point somewhere. Most tools on this site keep nothing, and the difference is marked on the index.
- There is no account, so the proof a screen is yours lives in the browser you built it in. Clear your site data and it can only expire on its own.
- Slides play from the clock on the screen itself. A tablet set to the wrong time zone shows the wrong slides, and it is worth checking that once.
- It is a screen, not a till. It shows what you typed; it does not know your stock or your prices.
Questions
Do I need a special device or an app?
No. Anything with a browser works — an old iPad, an Android tablet, a smart TV, a laptop. Open the link and put it in full screen.
What happens if the internet drops?
The page keeps playing what it already loaded. It needs nothing but your own pictures, so a screen that is already running carries on.
Does the schedule use my local time?
Yes. It reads the clock on the screen itself, which is the one standing in your shop.
Why do you ask for an email?
Only to publish. Building and previewing needs nothing. The email confirms a person is behind the screen before it gets a public address, and it is how we can reach you about that screen.
